Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering offers 4-year B.Tech programmes, in Electronics and Communication Engineering. It also offers M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. At the undergraduate level, the Department lays emphasis on Circuit Simulation, analysis and designing, Micro-Controllers and Microprocessors, Digital Signal Processing, Antenna Design, and VLSI. The Department provides exposure to emerging technologies as well as futuristic technologies like Embedded System and Robotics. The research area of the Department is in the field of Communication Systems, Microelectronics & VLSI, RF & Microwave Engineering and Embedded systems & Robotics. The Focus of the department is on state of the art projects to be done by our B. Tech and M. Tech students, excellent teaching learning process, better alumni relations, good Industry attachment program through projects and outcome based education. Young, motivated and dedicated faculty, many faculty members have presented their research work in highly reputed conferences and workshops.
The department has Strong Alumni Interaction through department Alumni Cell, Capstone Project and Major Project for professional skill development of students. Department has a growing list of SCI Publications and Citations by the faculty. Department has very good linkages with outside world through the relationships that have been developed by senior faculty due to their research and academic interactions.

Students in B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering program should, at the time of their graduation, will be possession of:
- PO1: An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals as it applies to the field of electronics & communication engineering.
- PO2: An ability to identify, formulate, and solve problems related to Electronics and Communication engineering.
- PO3: An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as collect data, analyze and interpret results.
- PO4: An ability to design and validate analog and digital system or process as per needs and specifications.
- PO5: An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
- PO6: An ability to understand the impact of electronics & communication engineering solutions on the society.
- PO7: An ability to demonstrate the understanding of professional, ethical and environmental responsibilities.
- PO9: An ability to visualize and work in laboratory and understanding of individual and team responsibilities.
