The office of the counselling services aims at helping students reach their highest academic and personal potential. This may involve helping with personal, learning and career concerns and promoting success and wellness among them. The office provides a confidential atmosphere in which the students can explore any topic or situation and discuss any concerns they may have. The students are helped to work through their problems, to develop self-awareness and to overcome problems. The office offers free counselling to students on individual or group basis.
Students can avail various types of counselling services at College:
Academic Counselling:The College provides counselling related to academic choices during the admissions process to enable students to decide upon their course of study. Teachers are always available within College and students can approach them with their academic problems.
Career counselling:The College organizes talks with experts from various fields for the students to learn about prospective careers. For example, the Alumni Cell of the College organises sessions in which career related queries of students are answered by College alumni.
Personal Counselling:The College employ a qualified Counsellor who helps students with their psychological and emotional problems.

RULES FOR ACADEMIC DISCIPLINEI. Every student is required to attend all the lectures, practicals and other co-curricular activities. The attendance is condoned up to 25% on medical ground and other genuine reasons beyond the control of students. Thus the student enrolled is required to register 75% attendance to become eligible to appear in the sessional tests and End Semester Theory and Practical Examinations.
II. Every student must compulsory appear in all the tests, complete all assignments including tutorial and project work, etc., given by different teachers within the specified time period. Students should bear in mind that internal assessment marks are based on their performance in these academically indispensable aspects and any failure in this regard would be deemed expedient for the student concerned.
III. Evaluation of performance in tests, tutorials, assignments and project work as well as attendance record shall be made by the faculty for the purpose of an award of internal assessment marks. Such marks awarded by the faculty would be final and binding subject to modulation by Dean/Director and no complaint in this regard shall be entertained.
IV. Late entry and interim/early departure from the classroom, lab, etc. are strictly prohibited.
V. All students must be inside the lecture halls/laboratories during lecture hours and lab sessions. Roaming in the corridors, the cafeteria, or any other part of the campus during lectures/tutorials/practicals amounts to serious violation of the academic code of conduct.
VI. The student is not allowed to engage in sports/games or any other activities during lectures/tutorials/practical classes.
VII. Not posting any irrelevant, antisocial, anti-national or obscene content on any social media like facebook, WhatsApp, etc.VIII. Writing Names, slogans, sticking of posters, pamphlets on the walls of college are strictly prohibited.
IX. Not to involve in any kind of action that may cause damage to college property.
