School of Pharmacy (SOP) is a well-established institution established in 2005 under the wings of Bharat Institute of technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, having a high profile with interdisciplinary areas of specializations in Pharmacy. Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) had approved intake of 100 students for the course of Bachelor of Pharmacy, 15 students for post-graduation program in each specialization and 100 students for diploma program in pharmacy. SOP initiate offering post graduate courses in the year 2011. Presently, offering PG in course in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology specialization.

The School of Pharmacy includes a diverse community of scholars who work together and inspire one another in pharmaceutical research, practice, and service with an aim to enhance the quality of life for people globally. The Institute is situated in a pollution free environment having separate four storey buildings for PG, UG and diploma courses. The Institute is having more than 24 well equipped laboratories, one central instrumentation lab with HPLC, UV Spectrophotometer, FTIR etc and Machine Room facilities.

Teaching and research are strengthened by 2 computer labs with more than 90 computers and with availability of all latest software’s (like Chem Draw, Bioassay Methods etc) necessary for pharmaceutical sciences and other allied areas. Most of the software is available on multiple terminals so as to allow maximum students to take their advantage at any given time. All terminals are facilitated with high-speed internet connectivity.

The faculties are well trained in diverse disciplines of Pharmacy and allied areas such as Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Medicinal Chemistry Pharm.    Biotechnology etc. All the faculty members regularly attend Seminars, Conferences of National and International levels as well as Staff Development Programmes and also FDP organized by various agencies and Universities.

For any education and research Institute, Library is an essential and integral part for effective dissemination of latest knowledge and conduct of research in frontier areas.

School of pharmacy has its own central library, departmental library and spacious reading rooms. The library is equipped with more than 10000 books and more than 1800 no. of titles covering different aspects of Pharmacy, National and International Journals and about 250 online Journals.
