About Training


BIT Group of Institutions always believes in providing the holistic development to the students and thus, keeping in view the fact that today competition is at its peak and in order to be successful one needs that major spark which can give ignition to the professional journey; BIT established the Department of Training in the year 2008.

In these 10 years the department has been catering to the developmental needs of the students in terms of Personality Development Training and Quantitative Aptitude Training wherein the department provides regular training sessions on Communication skills, behavioral skills, grooming, self management, motivation, interview skills, group discussion, corporate ethics along with the training on Quantitative Aptitude Training which includes training for cracking the major placement exams like that of TCS, Wipro, Accenture , AMCAT, Co-Cubes etc. The department also provides career guidance and counseling sessions on periodic basis.

The department also conducts various workshops and organizes various Guest/ Expert lectures for the students time to time in order to provide them with the global exposure.

The training team is a perfect example of the right blend of experience and exuberance as the team comprises experienced as well as young professionals who come from multidimensional fields that act as a catalyst for the overall performance of the department.

The following are the objectives of the department-

  1. To act as a bridge between education and employment.
  2. To train the students on soft skills and quantitative aptitude so as to enhance their employability.
  3. To identify and help the students overcome the shortcomings in their personality from their first day till they get placed.
  4. To change the attitude of students towards their life and career.
  5. To train the students on the specific skills companies look for.


To produce competent, self-motivated and virtuous professionals who possess a social, logical and towering personality. The vehicle for its implementation is through a co- curriculum incorporating the elements of soft/ behavioral  skills and aptitude that lead to the overall development of students.



To groom students by enhancing their aptitude and soft skills to enable them to meet the challenges of corporate world.


Training Pedagogy


The team follows pedagogy based on course outcomes. Following outcome based training is imparted in the students-

In addition to the outdoor survival and bushcraft skills, students  will be able  develop their social and work-life skills, as well as their personal and emotional well-being, including:

Resilience – learning to keep going when things don’t go according to plan, coping with the unfamiliar, managing disappointment and dealing with conflict

Teamwork – learning to connect and work with others to achieve a set task

Leadership – assessing the requirements of a task, identifying the strengths within the team, utilising the diverse skills of the group to achieve the set objective, awareness of risk/safety

Communication – demonstrating clear briefing and listening skills, not being afraid to ask for help and support when necessary and  inhibit hesitation.

Emotional maturity and emotional health – learning to handle emotions including tolerance and behavioural responses, building positive friendships and bonding with peers and classmates, learning to show understanding and to demonstrate respect for the opinions, personal space and beliefs of others

Confidence and enthusiasm for learning – developing self-motivation, raised aspirations and belief in one’s own abilities, defining and committing to achieving one’s goals

Responsibility – for one’s 9self, learning self-reliance and independence

Employability skills – time and resource management, conflict resolution.

Workshops Conducted


  • Hands on workshop for pre final year students on HR Questions and Group Discussion conducted on 17TH April 2015
  • 10 Days’ summer workshop on Personality Development conducted from 10th June2015  to 23 rd June 2015
  • Winter Workshop on Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability from 27th December 2016 to 2nd January, 2016.
  • Winter Workshop on Verbal ability from 26th December 2016 to 3rd January 2017.
