Prof. V.K. Agarwal, is an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from University of Roorkee ( Presently IIT Roorkee) in 1965. He was placed second in the merit of the university. He has obtained his doctorate degree in Applied Mathematics from the same university in 1972.He has been the teaching assistant at UWO (University of Western Ontario,Cannada) in 1965-66 and then in 1966,he joined D.N. College ( Meerut University) as a lecturer in Mathematics, promoted as a reader, then head of department. As administrator, he has the experience of working as Proctor, Dean of student welfare, Incharge (Examination Cell, Computer Center) of the college. Finally he was promoted as principal of the college .He has worked as Secretary mathematical society of the university, Convener-RDC, Convener-Board of studies and member of academic council of the CCS University, Meerut. After retiring from D.N. college in 2004, he joined Modi Institute Technology & Science (Deemed University) LaxmanGarh, Rajsthan as professor & head and also having additional charge of Dean-Faculty of Engineering & Technology. After that he joined as Director, Computer Application, BIT, Meerut. He has published several research papers in national and international journal. He has supervised four Ph.D. theses.
